What are the benefits of signing in?

To verify your identity and sign in to Gov.om, use one of the following methods:
1. ID Card
You will need the ID card reader device and the Identity Reader (CTA) installed on your device.
Follow the on-screen instructions, then enter your 6-digit card PIN. Agree to share your information to complete the authentication process and sign in.
2. Digital Identity (Theqa App)
1. Sign in using QR Code
On the sign-in screen, select QR Code, then follow these steps:
- Open the Theqa app, tap the Authenticate & Sign icon, then tap “Scan QR” (at the bottom left of the screen in blue). Scan the QR code displayed on the portal.
- An authentication request will appear in the app. Approve the request, agree to share your personal information, then tap “Authenticate”.
- Three numbers will appear in the app. Select the number that matches the one displayed on the portal.
- Enter the PIN you created when activating your digital identity, then tap “Continue” to complete the authentication process.
- A consent message to use your personal information will appear on the portal. Tap “Agree” to complete the sign-in process.
After completing these steps, the system will recognise your identity and sign you in successfully.
2. Sign in using Push Notifications
On the sign-in screen, select Push Notifications, then follow these steps:
- Enter your ID Number, then tap “Send”.
- You will receive an authentication request through the Theqa app. Approve the request, agree to share your personal information, then tap “Authenticate”.
- Three numbers will appear in the app. Select the number that matches the one displayed on the portal.
- Enter the PIN you created when activating your digital identity, then tap “Continue” to complete the authentication process.
- A consent message to use your personal information will appear on the portal. Tap “Agree” to complete the sign-in process.
After completing these steps, the system will recognise your identity and sign you in successfully.
