What are the benefits of signing in?

To verify your identity and sign in to Gov.om, use one of the following methods:

1. ID Card

You will need the ID card reader device and the Identity Reader (CTA) installed on your device.

Follow the on-screen instructions, then enter your 6-digit card PIN. Agree to share your information to complete the authentication process and sign in.

2. Digital Identity (Theqa App)

  1. Sign in using QR Code

  On the sign-in screen, select QR Code, then follow these steps:

  1. Open the Theqa app, tap the Authenticate & Sign icon, then tap “Scan QR” (at the bottom left of the screen in blue). Scan the QR code displayed on the portal.
  2. An authentication request will appear in the app. Approve the request, agree to share your personal information, then tap “Authenticate”.
  3. Three numbers will appear in the app. Select the number that matches the one displayed on the portal.
  4. Enter the PIN you created when activating your digital identity, then tap “Continue” to complete the authentication process.
  5. A consent message to use your personal information will appear on the portal. Tap “Agree” to complete the sign-in process.

After completing these steps, the system will recognise your identity and sign you in successfully.

  2. Sign in using Push Notifications

  On the sign-in screen, select Push Notifications, then follow these steps:

  1. Enter your ID Number, then tap “Send”.
  2. You will receive an authentication request through the Theqa app. Approve the request, agree to share your personal information, then tap “Authenticate”.
  3. Three numbers will appear in the app. Select the number that matches the one displayed on the portal.
  4. Enter the PIN you created when activating your digital identity, then tap “Continue” to complete the authentication process.
  5. A consent message to use your personal information will appear on the portal. Tap “Agree” to complete the sign-in process.

After completing these steps, the system will recognise your identity and sign you in successfully.
