"Wa’ed" programme for developing entrepreneurial skills

In collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, represented by its “Omani Promising Startups” initiative, Outward Bound Oman has launched its training programme “Wa’ed”, in partnership with bp Oman. The programme targets entrepreneurs and student-led companies operating in the fields of technology and innovation.
The programme aims to offer an interactive, hands-on learning experience that enhances impact through experiential training. It supports entrepreneurs in creating a healthy working environment, developing teamwork skills, fostering collaboration, and developing a practical business plan, along with other professional skills.
The organising entity shared a dedicated registration link via social media platforms, inviting entrepreneurs to take part in this unique experience, which consists of three training phases. Participants were also provided with essential details, including the programme’s place and the timeline of its three phases.
This collaboration among the government sector, private sector, and civil society enhances the ongoing efforts to develop entrepreneurs' skills, encouraging them to innovate and excel in the workplace. It also forms part of a series of partnerships the Authority is working on to cultivate various skills in response to the increasing needs of the labour market.
