Tharwat Platform Presents Key Digital Services

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources has invited stakeholders and beneficiaries to explore the latest digital services offered through the Tharwat Platform—a smart gateway designed to provide seamless access to data and services related to natural resources.
In its first phase, the platform now enables users to apply online for a range of services: brokerage licences for individuals and institutions, fish seller and cutter licences, seasonal and daily amateur fishing licences, port entry permits, and shellfish and oyster collection permits.
Tharwat brings together advanced digital features, including the ability to track the status of requests step by step, bilingual support, and robust data protection measures.
It is worth noting that the ministry officially launched Tharwat in October 2024 as part of its digital transformation agenda. The platform aims to digitise all services, enhance efficiency and user experience, save time, and accelerate processes to ensure higher levels of beneficiary satisfaction.
