“Choose Your Land” eService to get housing land
In line with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning’s efforts to improve digital services and simplify housing processes, the “Choose Your Land” service provides a solution that enables beneficiaries to select residential land online easily and transparently. It is part of an integrated digital system that improves the user experience and speeds up transactions.
The service enables eligible citizens to get housing land through an interactive map that lets them choose the land, reserve it temporarily for inspection, then confirm the booking online and receive notifications to follow up on their request. It is one of the main housing land request services, along with other housing options offered by the Ministry, such as “Own Your Land” and “Exchange Your Land,” all provided through one unified digital system.
This service represents a major improvement in the way housing services are provided, showing the Ministry’s commitment to building an integrated digital housing system that supports sustainable development in line with Oman Vision 2040.
The “Choose Your Land” service won the GCC Digital Government Award 2025 for best digital government service, an achievement that reflects the Sultanate of Oman’s leadership in developing digital government services and strengthens its position in regional digital transformation and competitiveness indicators. It also fosters a culture of innovation and focuses on improving the user experience within the government’s digital transformation framework.
