• For Local Projects • The Fund will consider opportunities from various sectors with the exception of oil and gas and real estate • Allocated capital should be utilized for greenfield, growth, and expansion projects. • Target ticket size ranges between OMR 5 and 100 million.The Fund will consider opportunities from various sectors with the exception of oil and gas and real estate • The Fund will not exceed 40% at both equity/enterprise value. • The Fund will target investments likely to generate 12% returns - lower return investments promising significant economic impact will be considered. • Feasibility studies must be submitted in all cases to assess and confirm aspects such as suitability and viability. • The project sponsor or a partner should have the relevant technical expertise for the project
• For SMEs • SME equity funding requirements must range between OMR 250K and 5 Million. • SME debt funding requirements must range between OMR 100K and 500K • Allocated capital should be utilized for growth and expansion • These programs are dedicated to SME card holders only. • Feasibility studies must be submitted in all cases to assess and confirm aspects such as suitability and viability. • The SME should be operational and record revenue. • Under the SME equity program, the Fund shall be allowed to be involved in strategic decisions.
• For Venture Capital (VC) • Targeted stages are ideation, pre-seed, and seed. • The Fund invests in the following pre-seed and seed themes and verticals: Climate tech, DeepTech, Fintech, energy, machine learning, robotics, mobility, cybersecurity, internet of things, big data, artificial intelligence, and 5G • VC funding requirement per single opportunity ranges between OMR 4,000 and 40,000 for the ideation stage and between OMR 20,000 and 100,000 for the pre-seed and seed stages.
