E-Submission of Financial Disclosure for Government Official...

The State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority provides, through its website, a range of digital services, in addition to other information of interest to citizens and residents. The Financial Disclosure Service for Government Officials is one such service, which is initiated upon a request from the Chairman of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority.
A financial disclosure is a means through which a government official declares the movable and immovable assets owned by the official, the official’s spouse, and minor children, whether within or outside the Sultanate of Oman. This includes securities and shares in companies, the source of such ownership, as well as any rights they may have against third parties and any obligations they may have towards third parties.
The process for submitting the financial disclosure is designed to be clear and straightforward. It begins by accessing the website of the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority, selecting the “E-Services” section, and then choosing the “Financial Disclosure for Government Official” service. This section provides a guidance manual for completing the financial disclosure. The disclosure form can then be downloaded onto the device being used. Once the form has been downloaded, the declarant completes all required information, including personal details, information relating to the spouse and minor children, and the assets they own, including their rights and financial obligations.
After accurately completing all required information, the declarant is required to print the disclosure and sign each of its pages. The completed disclosure is then placed in the designated envelope, securely sealed, and submitted to the State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority.
The State Financial and Administrative Audit Authority plays a fundamental role in strengthening the audit framework and preventing and combating corruption, thereby preserving the State’s achievements and protecting its resources and assets. Its efforts also contribute to enhancing security and stability for citizens and residents of the Sultanate of Oman. The Authority further works to embed the principles of integrity and promote a culture of integrity across various government institutions and entities, through continued cooperation and coordination with all relevant partners.
