The National Center for Statistics and Information has issued the electronic version of the in "Omani Women Observatory," report, timed with the Sultanate of Oman's celebrations of Omani Women's Day on November 17 each year.
This report covers seven key areas related to Omani women, represented in health, education, social status, security, safety, politics, leadership, economy, and technology. The Center aims to provide accurate information on the indicators that preceded these areas, including the total number of Omani women between 2020-2023, in addition to the relative distribution across governorates, where the governorates of North Al Batinah and Muscat recorded the highest numbers. The report also details the age group distribution of Omani women and examines social status trends.
