Environment Authority Offers Investment in Wildlife Reserve
The Environment Authority has announced investment opportunities in the Wildlife Reserve. This package is intended for companies, specialized institutions and investors wishing to seize opportunities in eco-tourism activities, as the Authority posted the announcement on its official account on x.
The investment opportunities offered are: Establishment and operation of an eco-tourism camp, activation and management of tourist tours in the Reserve’s facilities (safaris), and operation and management of service facilities (caravans). The Environment Authority also clarified the conditions for applying for the tender, the most important of which are: Submission of a letter of “expression of interest” in preparing and implementing an investment plan for ecotourism in the Reserve, addressed to H.E. Dr. Chairman of the Environment Authority, Chairman of the Authority's Internal Tenders Committee, a copy of the valid commercial registration compatible with the type of the targeted activity, projection of the project design on the investment site with maps and coordinates, submission of the organization's details, including its structure and experience in the field of tourism and environment and its management, and attaching the investment work plan on site after submitting a request to obtain the investment plan document via the phone number listed in the announcement.
These opportunities are a step towards achieving the objectives of the Environment Authority through the sustainability of environmental resources and introducing the community to the natural treasures that Oman is known for, in addition to providing job opportunities for Omani companies and institutions, contributing to the improvement of eco-tourism, and raising awareness among the community of the importance of preserving the environment and its resources.
