This service enables the private sector to get a license for an additional press institution, through which a print or electronic form of a newspaper, magazine, or publication is issued, through procedures connected to several government entities.

Special conditions
- The applicant must be Omani
- The applicant must be at least (25) years old
- Attaching the bank certificate in accordance with Article (38) of the Publications and Publishing Law concerning press-related provisions
- A minimum of 5 years of experience is required if the newspaper is printed, and the applicant must be dedicated full-time
