Special conditions
- This license is limited for one-time registration
- Radioactive sources must be used properly and stored in safe locations
- A request for amendment to this license must be submitted to add data for any newly imported exempt radioactive sources or any re-exported exempt radioactive sources within a maximum period of 2 weeks from the shipment clearance date
- Committing to the safe disposal of exempted radioactive sources after completing their use and notifying the Authority accordingly. In some cases, tightly sealed sources that cannot be disposed of within the Sultanate of Oman must be re-exported
- If the licensee wishes to transfer possession of exempted radioactive sources to another user, they must get prior approval from the Authority
- It is necessary to adhere to the Environmental Protection and Pollution Control Law issued by Royal Decree No. (114/2001) and the Regulations for Radiation Protection and the Safety and Security of Radiation Sources and Nuclear Materials issued by Authority Decision No. (79/2023)
