Get License to Establish Private Apiary

Special conditions

• The apiary must be existing and conform to the specifications in Article No. (43) of Ministerial Resolution No. (41/2010).- The number of sects should not be less than two sects and no more than (29) beehives
• The number of sects should not be less than two sects and not more than (29) beehives
• The apiary should be shaded with an insulating material from direct sunlight
• The floor of the apiary should be covered with coarse sand
• The cells should be placed on stands that prevent ants from climbing into them
• There should be a source of pure water next to the apiary
• The place where the apiary is located must have vegetation with a good source of nectar and pollen
• Attach the documents for the land on which the apiary will be established: a copy of (the title deed, a legal instrument, the cadastral drawing, or a letter from the sheikh or the rationalist approved by the governor of the state regarding lands irrigated by the aflaj, or a lease contract, or a usufruct contract, or an investment contract). And written approval from the partners/heirs if the request to establish the apiary is submitted by one of them
• The applicant must be of Omani nationality
