Required documents
- • A list of pesticides to be manufactured and their detailed data with written approval from the original registrar of manufacture if the applicant for the license is not the original registrar
- • A copy of the commercial/industrial register issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
- • A copy of the membership certificate issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
- • A certified copy of the contract of employment of the factory manager/pesticide expert, the contract must be authenticated by the competent authority
- • A copy of the educational qualification certificate of the factory manager/pesticide expert (not less than a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Pesticides/Plant Protection respectively). Attested by the Omani Embassy in the country of origin (for non-Omanis)

Special conditions
- • The site must be approved by the relevant authorities
- • A list of pesticides to be manufactured and their detailed data with written approval from the original registrar of manufacture if the license applicant is not the original registrar
- • The factory must have a special hall for workers to rest, completely separate from the production and work halls, and well ventilated and lit.
- • A sign must be placed at the entrance to the hall preventing pregnant women and children from entrance.
- • The materials used in construction must be fire-resistant and the interior walls of the building must be easy to clean, smooth to the touch, and designed to block flames and resist oxidation or corrosion
- • The doors leading to the production halls must be fire-resistant, self-closing, movable in both directions, and smoke-proof
- • The factory floors should be free of scars and cracks, easy to clean, and designed with a slope of half a centimeter per meter towards the production waste drains.
- • A copy of the commercial/industrial register issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
- • A certified copy of the contract of employment of the factory manager/pesticide expert, the contract must be authenticated by the competent authority
- • A copy of the educational qualification certificate of the factory manager/pesticide expert (not less than a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Pesticides/Plant Protection respectively). Attested by the Omani Embassy in the country of origin (for non-Omanis)
- • Payment of the contribution of the Agricultural and Fisheries Development Fund according to the company's degree and classification
- • Additional spaces must be available around the factory buildings that allow civil defense vehicles to reach them in emergency situations, taking into account the expected development and expansion of the factory in the future.
- • If the factory is located outside the industrial cities, its buildings must be separated from the neighboring buildings by a concrete wall no less than two meters high and with appropriate gates that facilitate movement during emergency situations.
- • The factory must have a special hall for preparing the raw components and must not be completely separate from the manufacturing hall.
- • The factory must have a special hall for manufacturing and packaging the final product
- • The buildings used for administrative and office work must be separate from the production halls, raw material warehouses, and produced material warehouses.
- • The factory must have special warehouses for storing raw materials and final product packages, other warehouses for storing produced materials, and special warehouses for storing gas cylinders and tanks in accordance with the terms and specifications stipulated in Clause Three of these specifications
- • The factory must have a laboratory in accordance with the conditions stipulated in Clause Four
