This service enables you, if you are Omani, to register your marriage to a non-Omani.

Required documents
- For the Omani husband or wife: To Whom It May Concern letter (from the Ministry of Labour).
- If the marriage took place outside the Sultanate of Oman: a certified marriage certificate from the foreign country’s embassy and the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Note: Your application will be reviewed by the Supreme Judicial Council, and you may be asked to provide additional documents.

Special conditions
- You must apply yourself.
- You must be an Omani married to an expat.
- The Omani husband or wife must not have a job in the military or security sector.
- If the marriage took place in Oman, the husband, wife, and her guardian must attend. If the guardian cannot attend, a person holding a valid marriage power of attorney may attend instead.
