This service aims to enable individuals and companies to issue a permanent registration certificate for a maritime unit, whether it was previously registered under a temporary certificate or is being registered for the first time, to ensure its inclusion in the national registry and verify compliance with regulatory requirements, allowing the owner to legally conduct maritime activities inside and outside the Sultanate
Required documents
- Business Activity License
- Management Authorization in case of multiple owners
- Inspection report
- Vessel construction certificate, or sales contract in case of purchase, and deletion certificate in case of changing nationality to the Omani flag
- Valid Insurance Certificate
- Telecommunications Regulatory Authority license
- Attach the Sale Contract or Proof of Ownership.

Special conditions
- The applicant must be the vessel owner or an authorized representative of the vessel owner
- The applicant must be an Omani national or a resident.
- The vessel must not be listed among prohibited vessels.
- A valid license from the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority must be available.
- A valid marine insurance policy must be in place.
- Approval from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources must be available (the approval will be retrieved if not available).
- A valid inspection must be available (the applicant will be redirected to the inspection process if no inspection exists).
- A commercial activity license is required in the case of a service vessel, according to the type of service.
