Special conditions
- Compliance with Royal Decree No. (114/2001) issuing the Law on Environmental Protection and Pollution Control
- Compliance with Royal Decree No. (6/2003) issuing the Law on Nature Reserves and Wildlife Conservation
- Allowing Authority employees to access sites and private properties inhabited by Omani wildlife
- It is strictly prohibited to release domesticated wildlife into local wilderness areas
- It is strictly prohibited to capture wildlife from the local environment and domesticate them
- Births, deaths or transfer of possession of the animals must be registered with the Environment Authority or the relevant Governorate department/administration within a maximum period of 7 days
- The Environment Authority or the relevant Governorate department/administraton must be notified if the owner wishes to handle the wild animals
- Other Conditions:
- Compliance with Ministerial Decision No. (101/2002) regarding the Ban on Killing, Hunting, or Capturing Wild Animals and Birds wherever they may be found in the Sultanate of Oman
- Compliance with Ministerial Decision (110/2007) issuing the Executive Regulation of the Natural Reserves and Wildlife Conservation Law
