Special conditions

  • For urgent tests, please contact the Central Public Health Laboratory (CPHL) before sending the sample
  • Ensure that the samples are delivered to the laboratory during daylight hours, preferably during official working hours
  • The samples must be clearly labeled with the patient's details, in compliance with national and international guidelines for transporting infectious materials
  • Ensuring transportation under conditions that guarantee the safety of the samples, such as temperature control and the prevention of contamination or damage
  • The container must be airtight and leak-resistant, wrapped with an absorbent material, and placed inside a second airtight container, along with an outer one for protection during transport
