Apply for approval to register a transportation vehicle
This service enables individuals and businesses to get the Ministry approval to register a land vehicle for commercial use (excluding taxis), before completing the registration process with the Royal Oman Police.

Special conditions
- If the land vehicle is still under manufacture, you must enter the chassis number once manufacturing is complete through the service: Update Land Vehicle Registration Application Details (Trailers and Rental Vehicles).
- If approval is given for a vehicle operating off-road, the vehicle must not be driven on paved roads while carrying goods.
- You must not transport goods before receiving approval to register the vehicle.
- You must get a vehicle operating card after completing the vehicle registration procedures with the Royal Oman Police.
