This service enables private radio and television entities to apply for a license to operate in radio or television broadcasting, or to work as a media correspondent or journalist for an organization outside the Sultanate of Oman.

Special conditions
- The applicant must have good conduct and reputation and must not have been previously convicted of a crime involving dishonor or breach of trust, unless they have been rehabilitated.
- The applicant must have full legal capacity.
- The applicant must hold a relevant academic qualification or have practiced the profession regularly for at least two years for Omanis and five years for non-Omanis.
