Special conditions
- Must be of Omani nationality.
- Must be at least 30 years old and possess full legal capacity.
- Must have a good reputation, with no previous convictions for felonies or misdemeanors affecting honor or trustworthiness, and must not have been dismissed from a position for such reasons unless officially rehabilitated.
- Must not be employed within the state administrative apparatus units or other public legal entities nor engaged in the practice of law.
- Holds a certificate in their field of specialization from a recognized university, college, or institute. If the certificate is issued outside the Sultanate of Oman, it must be accredited by the relevant authorities and provided in Arabic or accompanied by a certified translation. Alternatively, a licensed legal accountant certificate from the relevant authority is also acceptable.
- Experience of at least 5 years for registration in the registry if the applicant is a legal person and at least 10 years if the applicant is a natural person.
- To be registered in the commercial register for practicing business related to the field of expertise specified in the application, or to provide a no-objection certificate from the legal representative of the institution registered in the commercial register if the applicant is one of its employees. The committee may grant exceptions to this condition if the nature of the expertise does not require registration in the commercial register.
