- The capital of a joint-stock company is divided into shares, and a shareholder is only responsible of his contribution to the capital
- A joint-stock company consists of at least three natural or legal persons. Companies established by the state alone or in partnership with others are excluded
- The issued capital must not be less than (500,000) five hundred thousand Omani Riyals
