Special conditions
- For non-resident companies, there is no revenue limit for registration in value-added tax; a bank guarantee must be provided, or an official registered representative with the tax authority must be appointed.
- For resident companies and individuals, their revenues must exceed 38,500 riyals, which is the mandatory registration threshold; a commercial registration and bank account details must be provided.
- For individuals, if the revenues from commercial real estate exceed 38,500 riyals, which is the mandatory registration threshold, they must attach their bank account details, a copy of their ID, and copies of some commercial contracts.
