Register Pesticide
A certificate issued in the name of the product proving its compliance with the technical specifications of the executive regulations of the Pesticides Law. It is a service provided to companies licensed to register pesticides before importing and trading pesticides. Special conditions
- . The company must have a license to import and export pesticides or sell and trade pesticides from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (Invest Easily) . The pesticide matches the chemical and physical specifications stated in the accompanying documents of the request and aligning its laboratory (chromatographic) data, recorded therein, with the original data provided based on the analysis results conducted by relevant authorities . Applicants must analyze the sample submitted by them in a laboratory approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in cases where analysis is not possible within the Sultanate and submit a certificate of analysis of the pesticide . The submitted sample may be re-registered (Pesticide Re-Registration Service) after the approval of the Committee, provided that the applicant submits a request to re-evaluate the bioavailability from the beginning of the fourth year of the validity of the certificate . This certificate may not be waived unless the ownership of the pesticide registered entity is transferred to a third party and after the approval of the competent authority . It is permissible to register more than one commercial name for the pesticide of the same active substance, provided that it fulfills the registration requirements
