- 2. In the case that the company purchases the property to practice its licensed activity: • The type of use of real estate (commercial / commercial / industrial / tourist) only. Buying property for residential or agricultural use only is not allowed. • The property must be located within the same geographical area (governorate) where the company practices its activities.
- 1. In the case of the company purchasing property for real estate development: The company must be fully owned by Omanis or citizens of the GCC member states. The contribution percentage of Omanis or GCC citizens in the company must not be less than 30% of its capital if it is a public or closed joint-stock company. The property to be owned must not be in prohibited areas. The company must use more than 50% of the land or property area for its registered activities, and it may lease or sell any excess, except for properties owned for tourism purposes, integrated commercial complexes, and residential units in integrated residential complexes. The land area must not be less than 5000 square meters.
