Register a Title Deed - Inheritance

This service enables you to register a property or land in the names of the heirs and get a new title deed after ownership has been transferred to them.

  • Title deed.
  • Survey plan (krooki)
  • Legal heirs certificate.
  • ID card
  • If you are applying on behalf of the heirs: your ID card and the power of attorney, including the registration of the inheritance certificate.
  • Copies of the ID cards of any minor heirs, if any.

Service steps

Special conditions

  • The property must not be under seizure or mortgaged unless the mortgagee approves.
  • Any minor heirs must be registered with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning through the land registration offices and be listed in the legal inheritance certificate issued by the court.
  • Before you submit your application, all heirs must be registered with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning by signing in to the Ministry's portal.
  • You must renew the Survey plan (krooki), if required.
