Special conditions
- The apiary must be established and previously licensed
- The number of colonies must not be less than two and must not exceed 29 beehives
- The apiary must be shaded with a material that blocks direct sunlight
- The apiary floor must be covered with coarse sand
- The hives must be placed on stands that prevent ants from climbing into them
- A source of clean water must be available near the apiary
- The location of the apiary must have vegetation with a good source of nectar and pollen
