The service of honoring the dead is concerned with transporting, washing, or burying the dead, or all of them.

Special conditions
- The deceased are transferred from hospitals upon contact from the health institution management or the deceased's relatives or their representatives
- The dead is not transferred from homes or streets unless there is proof of a transfer request from the relevant authorities such as (Public Prosecution, Royal Oman Police, Ministry of Health)
- The deceased is transferred from private hospitals in the event of a death notice and the deceased's details
- The deceased is transferred to all governorates of the Sultanate and to the airport except Musandam and Dhofar
- The religion and age of the deceased expatriate is specified in the death notice sent by either the Royal Oman Police or health institutions
