Special conditions
- She must provide a written acknowledgement of her desire to renounce the citizenship of the country she holds, and provide an evidence that its law allows her to do so
- Her marriage must have taken place with prior approval from the Ministry. This condition does not apply to the female whose marriage took place before her husband got Omani citizenship
- To have a son from her Omani husband
- That she has resided in Oman for a period of no less than fifteen years, and that she has not been absent during the same period for a period not exceeding sixty days during one year
- She must not be married to a non-Omani
- To be fluent in spoken Arabic
- She must be of a good conduct
- She must not have been previously convicted of a felony or a crime against honor or trust, unless she has restored her reputation
- To be in good health and free from infectious diseases, as specified in the regulations
