Request Omani Citizenship for Minor female Omani Citizen's Son

This service enables you to submit a request to get an Omani citizenship for the minor son of an Omani female citizen.

Certificate of good conduct in the Sultanate of Oman
A certificate of no objection from the government of his country to acquire Omani citizenship
Guardian approval

He must provide proof that the law of the country whose nationality the minor holds allows him to renounce it
The mother must be widow or divorced, or her husband has been absent or left her to an unknown destination for a period of not less than (10) ten continuous years, and this absence or abandonment is proven by a judicial ruling
That his parents’ marriage has had a prior approval from the ministry. This condition does not apply to females whose marriage occurred before getting Omani citizenship
His mother's custody of him must be by virtue of a court ruling
He must have a legal residence in Oman for a period of no less than ten (10) years, and must not have been absent during the same period for less than sixty (60) days during one year
He must be of good character and conduct
Not to have been previously convicted of a criminal offence or a crime involving moral turpitude or dishonesty, unless he has restored his reputation
A written approval of the minor’s guardian - if any -, stating that he has no objection to him getting an Omani citizenship
