Special conditions
- The applicant must have full legal capacity.
- The applicant must hold a relevant academic qualification or have practiced the profession regularly for at least two years.
- The applicant must be at least (21) years old.
- The applicant must be Omani.
- For non-Omanis, applicants must hold a radio, television, or press ID card from the country they belong to.
- For non-Omanis, applicants must hold a university degree in their field and prove they have worked in journalism or a related field for at least five years.
- The applicant must have good conduct and reputation, and must not have been previously convicted of a crime involving dishonor or breach of trust, unless they have been rehabilitated.
