Special conditions
- When transferring a general pharmacy, the proposed location must meet specific criteria: it should be at least 100 meters away from the nearest healthcare facility and 200 meters from the nearest general pharmacy, measured from the midpoint of their main entrances, except for pharmacies within commercial complexes. The pharmacy must be situated on the ground floor with access to one of the building’s external facades, unless located in a commercial complex. Its floor level should be elevated above the surrounding ground unless exempted, and the internal area must not be less than 24 square meters. Additionally, it should not have internal connections to any residential or commercial spaces, and a detailed internal floor plan must be submitted.
- The applicant cannot be a partner in more than one pharmaceutical establishment.
- When transferring a pharmaceutical warehouse, the building and ceiling must be constructed from reinforced concrete or a similar non-combustible material, in compliance with the safety and security requirements set by the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority. The internal area must be at least 60 square meters, with a ceiling height of no less than 3 meters. A detailed internal floor plan of the warehouse must also be submitted. Additionally, the warehouse flooring must be solid, easy to clean, and not below the level of the public road or the adjacent or facing ground level.
- In the case of transferring a private pharmacy, it must be located within the private hospital and have an internal area of no less than twenty square meters.
