This service enables candidates to register for the elections of Shura Council members and Municipal Council members in the Sultanate of Oman, in accordance with the approved regulations and procedures.

- Academic qualification certificate and an equivalency certificate if the qualification was issued abroad
- Certificate of good conduct and behavior

Special conditions
- The candidate must be an Omani citizen by origin.
- The candidate must be at least 30 years old at the time of nomination opening.
- The candidate must hold an educational qualification of at least a General Education Diploma.
- The candidate must not have been convicted by a final judgment of a felony or a crime involving dishonor or breach of trust, even if rehabilitated.
- The candidate must be registered in the electoral roll of the constituency they are running for.
- The candidate must not be affiliated with any security or military entity.
- The candidate must not be under legal guardianship by court ruling.
- The candidate must not suffer from a mental illness affecting their legal capacity.
