The National System for Innovations, Projects and Government Procurement

The General Secretariat of the Tender Board announced the launch of the National System for Project Management and Government Procurement (Takamul)- one of the most significant national projects aimed at automating all processes related to the management of government projects and procurement. The system ensures greater comprehensiveness and efficiency across all stages, from planning, contracting, and contract execution to follow-up and final contract closure.

 

Takamul system aims to align with digital transformation initiatives in the government sector, enhancing the efficiency of processes related to government projects and procurement. It simplifies and automates the entire procurement and project management cycle withing improving transparency and accountability.Additionally, the system seeks to enhance supplier relations with government entities, improve planning capabilities, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

 

The (Takamul) system also consists of five key interconnected components, namely: the Project Management System, the Government Procurement Management System, the Supplier Relationship System, the Takamul Management System, and the Contract Management System. These systems work to organize, manage and monitor government procurement, record supplier relationship management, organize and monitor contracts, and support local content.

 

By launching the National System for Project Management and Government Procurement (Takamul),the General Secretariat of the Tender Board aims to establish a comprehensive and unified database for all government expenditures, and to keep pace with the current digital transformation.
