This service enables you to submit a water sample from a drinking water source, river, lake, reservoir, or other body of water for analysis to determine the presence of contaminants, bacteria, or chemicals that may pose a health risk to ensure the water is safe for human or environmental use.

Special conditions
- You must collect at least 100 ml in sterilized and labeled containers
- To collect drinking water, sterilized bottles with sufficient volume (0.1 ml/bottle) of 1.8% sodium thiosulfate solution should be used to neutralize the bactericidal effects of chlorine or chloramines. Sterilized bottles containing sodium thiosulfate can be obtained from the Central Public Health Laboratory (CPHL)
- Samples must be sent to the laboratory as soon as possible in a cool box
- Samples must be stored at 2 - 8°C for not more than 24 hours
