Special conditions
- The institution/company must be Omani, registered with the relevant authorities, and its activities must include fishing, processing, marketing, and exporting fish.
- The institution/company and its branches must be fully owned by Omanis, with the possibility of allowing foreign partners in accordance with the Foreign Capital Investment Law.
- The institution/company must comply with marine fishing laws and regulations, and the vessel to be registered must not have been convicted in the past three years of violating the fisheries law or engaging in Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) Fishing.
- The institution/company must adhere to the Omanization percentage set by the relevant authorities.
