Isnad: First Electronic Interface for Government Tenders

The General Secretariat of the Tender Board announced the launch of the Isnad electronic platform for managing government tenders and procurement. This platform is the first of its kind to establish a systematic and transparent management of tenders across all units of the state's administrative apparatus, regardless of whether they are subject to the Tenders Law. It provides a fair and competitive environment for all registered institutions.
According to the registration process at the General Secretariat of the Tender Board, the platform allows registered institutions to participate and compete in various tenders offered by the different government procurement departments. Institutions or companies must also register in one of the following sectors to be eligible: urban contracting and maintenance, the port contracting, roads and bridges, railways and dams, pipeline networks, well drilling, electromechanical contracting, communications and maintenance, consulting and professional offices, public service, information technology services, and supplies.
Institutions and companies wishing to compete must complete the registration process through the Isnad platform website. This includes submitting valid commercial registration data, membership cards to the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, certificates of Omanization and tax percentage, and obtaining a username and password.
The General Secretariat of the Tender Board seeks to facilitate access for various institutions and companies to bidding and competitive opportunities for government purchases through the launch of Isnad platform.
