Naql e-Platform for Public and Land Transport Workers

The "Naql" platform enables users to issue and renew transportation registration cards, issue taxi licenses, exceptional load permits, and other transportation services and permits. It is also integrated to the Royal Oman Police's vehicle registration system and the "Invest Easy" portal, to verify land transport details and licensed activities for individuals or institutions.

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology reminds all individuals and establishments working in the land transport sector the requirement to obtain a vehicle operating card under the executive regulations of the Land Transport Law issued under Ministerial Resolution No. 2/2018, to access logistics sector services and avoid penalties.

In its first phase, the Naql platform provides the following services: issuing and renewing land transport operating cards, issuing taxi licenses according to the requirements specified in the executive regulations of the Land Transport Law, issuing exceptional loads permits, and granting permits for foreign vehicles to transport loads or to extend the stay for more than 7 days. The platform also allows users to pay fines directly, receiving a confirmation text message once payment is successful. The Naql platform enhances the efficiency of the transportation services system in the Sultanate of Oman, by creating a digital database for workers in the public transport and land transport sectors,helping to develop plans and laws that advance the logistics sector. The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology ensures that the Naql platform aligns with the global standards for regulating the land transport sector.
