ROP Simplifies Sponsored Visa Applications via E-Authenticat...
your profile: Royal Oman Police

The Royal Oman Police has introduced a new digital service that enables beneficiaries to submit requests for sponsored visas through electronic authentication, eliminating the need for in-person visits to service offices and optimizing the time of police service users.
To activate electronic authentication, citizens can use their mobile phone and ID card to complete the visa application process online. This service ensures high levels of confidentiality and security, safeguarding personal information throughout the process.
Once electronic authentication is activated, public relations representatives can submit visa requests by registering their institution and representatives with the General Directorate of Passports and Residence. Following this, they must complete registration in the electronic visa system, where authorization, activation, and the necessary procedures are carried out.
The Royal Oman Police encourages all eligible users to activate the electronic authentication feature as soon as possible. ID card holders can enable this function remotely without visiting service centers. By connecting to the internet and utilizing the PKI public key available in the ID card’s electronic applications, users can seamlessly activate the service. The activation process includes setting up a PIN, which is essential for completing visa applications. Once activated, beneficiaries can fill out required forms, upload necessary documents, pay service fees, and track their application status efficiently.
Through this initiative, the Royal Oman Police aims to enhance e-government services and simplify procedures for the public while adopting the latest technologies that ensure the security of personal information and reduce processing times compared to traditional methods.
