About the Ministry

The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation is dedicated to fostering  knowledge and promoting  scientific research as a primary driver of development and innovation, within the framework of Oman Vision 2040, which aims to establish  an integrated and sustainable knowledge economy. The Ministry is responsible for supervising higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman, and ensuring their adherence to international academic standards to provide highly qualified graduates  for the labor market by enhancing cooperation between the academia,  , industrial and governmental sectors.
