About the Authority
The National Records and Archives Authority is concerned with developing the documents system and the procedural guidelines for institutions subject to the Documents and Archives Law. The Authority aims to collect, preserve and protect national documents, while organizing the government archives to ensure their validity for future generations. It works to document the history and cultural heritage of the Sultanate of Oman and providing research and documentation services to government entities and individuals.
