In this context, the National Documents and Archives Authority seeks to adopt the open data principle as a core element of its strategies aimed at enhancing access to and preservation of documentary information for future generations. Making open data available to the public, academics and researchers is a step that promotes innovation and offers great opportunities to support scientific research. Various data can be accessed on the website of the National Records and Archives Authority, noting that all contents are licensed under the Open Data Use License. The Authority has divided the data into five groups, which are: Oral History, Application of the Documents and Archives Law, Documentary Exhibitions, Publications and Books, and Physical Processing of Records and Archives. All these data are available in the form of documents, which can be downloaded through a link attached next to each group, divided into historical, administrative and cultural categories. The Authority has also added two channels of communication with the Statistics and Data Section to respond to inquiries, through email and phone number. There is also a service available to request specific data by filling out a short request form that requires registering your name, phone number, and email address, attaching a data request message, and then submitting the request easily. The Records and Archives Authority sets a clear vision of the goals it seeks to achieve, which include facilitating access to archives and encouraging scientific, intellectual and artistic research through the optimal utilization of archives. This is achieved by digitizing services to provide data and facilitating access to it for researchers and enthusiasts in a transparent manner.
