About the Ministry

The Ministry of Education oversees education in Oman, from pre-school and school education through Grade 12 to higher and vocational education. It develops policies and curricula, ensures quality in line with labour market needs, and oversees public and private institutions. The Ministry also adopts modern technologies and manages qualification equivalency to provide an integrated education system that supports national development and strengthens learners’ skills at all stages.
