Reconciliation Applications Launched via “Taswiyah”

The Ministry of Interior has announced the launch of an online service for submitting reconciliation requests through the “Taswiyah” system, available on the Ministry’s official website. This step aims to make the application process easier and faster, while improving the efficiency and transparency of reconciliation committees. Beneficiaries can now submit their requests online without visiting committee offices in person. The Ministry also confirmed that paper-based or traditional applications will no longer be accepted.
“Taswiyah” is a digital platform designed for reconciliation and settlement committees across the Sultanate of Oman. It enables citizens, residents, and visitors, to submit reconciliation requests online for Sharia, civil, and commercial cases.
The system is fully connected with relevant government entities and enables complete digital management of sessions. This includes scheduling appointments, sending notifications in Arabic and English, and recording attendance electronically. Sessions can be managed using tablets, with meeting records reviewed and signed through approved electronic signature. In addition, the system provides accurate statistical reports that support effective decision-making.
The “Taswiyah” system is continuously developed to meet future needs and support the Sultanate of Oman’s digital transformation goals. Reconciliation committees currently achieve a settlement rate of around 87% of submitted cases, reflecting the strong community awareness of the importance of mutually agreed solutions and avoiding lengthy legal procedures.
Through initiatives like Taswiyah, the Ministry of Interior continues to expand digital services that improve access, speed up processing, and ensure a fair and smooth experience for all beneficiaries.
