Special conditions
- The applicant must have a valid marine fishing license
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of one of the following states: Sadah, Mirbat, Shalim, or the Hallaniyyat Islands.
- The applicant must be skilled in diving
- The applicant must not have been convicted of a violation of the Marine Fishing Law within one year from the date of submitting the application
- The applicant must submit a diving license application at least one month before the season.
