The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the launch of the electronic attestation service in a number of neighboring countries in an effort to provide high-quality consular services in line with the needs of Omani citizens abroad, as the Ministry is rapidly working to implement Oman Vision 2040’s digital transformation of government services.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes that finding smart and effective solutions to facilitate procedures and simplify them for citizens is a top priority. The e-attestation service was launched in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain and Kuwait, which means that there is no need to visit Oman's embassies in these countries to attest documents.

The Ministry has also announced on its website that it will soon begin implementing the e-attestation service in other neighboring countries, according to the Ministry's work plan in cooperation with Oman Post, providing a link to access the service in an easy and convenient manner.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs website offers users the opportunity to learn more about the e-services, after logging in to the website through the e-authenticated phone card, or through the ID card reader, to find services such as: Diplomatic services, governmental services, filing a report to a diplomatic mission, and other online services aimed at helping citizens outside the Sultanate of Oman.
