Electronic Application for a "Person with Disabilities Card"

Based on the Ministry of Social Development's commitment to developing social work to support and empower vulnerable groups, and building social protection mechanisms, it has included a set of electronic services on its website to improve the efficiency and quality of social services.

Upon entering the Ministry’s website, the beneficiary's file will appear. Click 'New Request' to view all available services, followed by the service details and terms and conditions pages, which must be read carefully before applying.

Applications for a "Person with Disabilities Card" can be submitted personally or through an agent. The system automatically fills in the applicant's civil status details such as name, age, date of birth, and region, with the possibility of uploading attachments before sending the application. A medical report is required for physical disabilities, and applicants must verify and update details like their phone number to complete the process.

Once a "Person with Disabilities Card" is obtained, the beneficiary can renew, cancel or obtain a replacement for a damaged or lost card electronically using the same steps. This reflects the Ministry’s commitment to developing and improving its digital services, in line with Oman Vision 2040, which seeks digital transformation, to ease access for people with disabilities and reduce the burden of waiting and traveling.
