One of the services that was developed and made possible to apply for online is the registration of a criminal complaint, which can be done by accessing the official e-portal of the Public Prosecution. The applicant follows easy and simple steps, in which the defendant or his legal representative expresses his will to file criminal proceedings, indicating the occurrence of the crime, with essential documents such as: The criminal report or complaint letter, and attachments to the complaint (evidence and proof), Power of attorney if the legal representative is available, and lawyer's card (if a legal representative is available) or the card of his representative.
The portal offers all e-services divided into judicial and administrative services. In order to initiate any procedure, it is required to log in to the portal, where you can log in using your civil ID card, passport number, or card reader. The average time taken to complete this service is no more than 10 minutes.
