Special conditions
- Both parties to the exchange must be present
- Both parties must be 18 or older, adults and legally competent, or represented by an agent authorized to conduct the exchange
- GCC nationals are not allowed to own properties in the prohibited areas in the Sultanate of Oman
- The property must not be seized or mortgaged without the approval of the mortgagee and must not be affected by planning restrictions
- The cadastral drawing (krooki) must be renewed if needed
