Special conditions
- The integrated fish farming license will be issued after the completion of construction work on the fish farm.
- The licensee shall adhere to the Fish Farming Regulations and Control of the Quality of Farmed Fish issued by Ministerial Decision No. (177/2012)
- It is prohibited to spray chemical pesticides and medicines on trees near the fish farm, as well as not to use agricultural tools used for this purpose.
- The licensee shall adhere to the records of the fish farm that the Ministry will allocate to him and present them to specialists when visiting the farm.
- The licensee shall be obligated to allow specialists to take samples of fish upon harvest for analysis and study.
- • Freshwater fish are farmed in an integrated system with agricultural crops.
- The area of the aquaculture farm must not exceed 10% of the total area of the farm.
- The area of the farm must not be less than 3 acres.
- The owner of the fish farm must adhere to the water quality standards determined by the Ministry.
- The farmer must have a sufficient source of groundwater to use for fish farming.
- Fish wastewater must be used to irrigate the area allocated for crops and trees and not exceed it so that it is not wasted.
- • It is prohibited to drain excess fish farm water beyond the needs of the agricultural land into the sewage system or lowlands.
- It is prohibited to introduce new species for the purpose of farming without obtaining prior permission from the competent authorities.
