Special conditions

• If the width of the vehicle exceeds 5 meters, it must be accompanied by two police vehicles (one from the front and the other from the back) with the accompaniment of the applicant's vehicle.
• For vehicles between 4 to 5 meters wide with a number of vehicles not exceeding 4, they must be accompanied by two vehicles, one for the police and the other for the applicant, provided that it is equipped with the necessary alarm devices.
• For vehicles ranging in width from 4 to 5 meters with a number of 6 vehicles, they must be accompanied by two vehicles, one for the police and the other for the applicant, and they must be equipped with the necessary warning devices if they are traveling in the oil concession areas.
• For vehicles ranging in width from 4 to 5 meters with a number of vehicles more than 4, vehicles must be divided into groups, for each group two accompanying vehicles, one for the Royal Oman Police and the other belonging to the applicant, provided that they are equipped with the necessary warning devices, and the distance between each group and the other must not be less than (1) kilometers, and the competent police department or command can increase the number of escort vehicles as per their discretion.
• If the applicant's vehicle routes on a double road (one way), the police vehicle must be in the back and the applicant's accompanying vehicle in the front.
• If the applicant's vehicle is on a road with opposite directions, it must be accompanied by two police vehicles (front and rear).
