This service is seamlessly integrated through a comprehensive interactive platform that allows users to select and change the time periods and required data according to the user’s interest. The page also offers users an option to view the state’s general budget estimates or the state’s final account.
Moreover, the Interactive Budget page offers the feature of displaying items according to the government organization, job description, and sectors. If users choose to filter by ministry, only the top 10 ministries will appear, and the figures show public expenditure, revenue, funding, and deficit, depending on the fiscal year the researcher specifies in the search box.
While the Ministry of Finance is continuously working on digitizing its services according to the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, it is also making constant efforts to raise financial awareness and share data with other government institutions, in order to make the best sustainable decisions that achieve a balance between revenues and expenditures to bring the Sultanate of Oman to financial balance.
